The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Math

The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Math is a two-year residential high school specializing in - you guessed it - science and mathematics. Each year, the school selects seventy or so students from around the state to live on campus for their last two years of high school and partake of SCGSSM's incomparable faculty and state-of-the-art laboratories. Located at Coker College in the teeming metropolis of Hartsville, SC, the Governor's School experience promises that each student will spend ridiculous amounts of time kicking around the dormitory with nothing to do. In this crucible of intense academics and utter lack of normal high school stimuli, lifelong friendships are forged.
